We do all the metalwork ourselves! I start with sterling silver sheet, saw out our desired shape and fuse sterling embellishments to the top. I use 22k gold wire and forge from that what I think will be a great accent to the design. I solder these gold pieces and any gemstone settings to my embellished silver. Now that the top is done, I take that piece and rivet it to a backplate that I've cut to frame the embellished piece. The whole thing is oxidized and then it's polished! My mom and I have been making and selling jewelry full-time for over 10 years and still love it! I wake up every morning and look forward to working in my studio all day.
